Hacking R4i

Hi all, just a question really, I read on this forum and many others even youtube that r4 team has stopped manufacturing r4 cards and today I went into town and see some market traders selling the R4i card and they state it works on the DSi I am assuming that these are fake or copies or somthing can anyone shed any detail if they know and I did search on here but it came back with zip

origiinal r4 team is MIA . some factory in china still produce r4 based of original flashcard. however all r4 i, r4ultra, r4gold, r4colored, etc are all fake. clone of clone.
you can buy them but don't wait for any support from they producer

i would say most of them in my country who sells r4 have no idea what is a r4 (this might applies to others)
they told me.. r4 is the best flash cart so why buying others..

anyway, from what i understand is why they are selling r4 over here
it is because of the profit margin!

they get it maybe for 10 USD cost but jack the price up to 30-40 USD!!
who would not want such business

currently, i see quite a number of GE-I (if i am not wrong, ak2 clone) around JB and KL

yeh when I said to the guy about acekard cyclods and supercard he had no idea what I was talking about, I said they were better had updates etc and I said to him its a dead product, no offense to the R4 team but if its not maintained then its a dead product in my eyes
