Just got a new R4i (1.4) in the mail yesterday and both the outer box and the card have a 'games-engine' logo, supposedly this lets you put games on the card via WiFi? Anyone tried this feature yet?

Thanks for a useless response Gary, I'm a big boy and can make an informed decision about purchases by myself. Whatever you might of surmised from my post count I'm not a 'noob'; in fact I owned one of the first 25 original grey import Game Boys sold in the UK way back in the 1980s before a lot of GBAtemp members were even born. I have my reasons for buying the R4i (1.4), (and it's not price related - I can get an AceKard for the same price). So, can anyone actually answer my question instead of spouting fanboy BS?

So you install their software on your PC which gives you both access to their ROM server and the ability to upload directly to the flashcart in your DSi?

EDIT:ADDRESS REMOVED IN LINE WITH GBATEMP RULES

EDIT: Just had a quick look and it looks like you can add this feature to any R4i manufactured after November 2009.

i am not sure how it actually goes
but from what they are advertising
it seems like you are able to download the games via wifi

mechagouki,
you better remove that site!
rom sites are not allowed

i bought myself another version of r4i
their program is happybox
will try it once i get it

Haven't had time yet, but I will definitely try, I like the idea of sticking a 16 GB micro SD in the R4 and never having to remove it again! I have big clumsy fingers!

Sorry I have not updated this for so long, I have the games engine software working on my R4i-SDHC now, it basically lets you download stuff from a server somewhere or dump roms from your PC to your DS wirelessly, haven't had a chance to experiment yet past setting it up. The first time you use it on your DS it writes a small file to the microSD which you then put in a folder in the PC softwares root - this allows PC and DS to communicate.
