My r4i upgrade revolution 3ds firmware is v3.4

My problem is that whenever i open my r4i it goes up to this

http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg690/scaled.php?server=690&filename=bgtopi.jpg&res=medium
http://desmond.imageshack.us/Himg207/scaled.php?server=207&filename=bg0k.jpg&res=medium
then after i select one of the 4 icons(press a) it doesnt progress.....

I have tried manually changing my firmware, i even tried downloading retrofan's multicard update
but still it doesnt work.

Im pretty frustrated :( and i dont know what to do....

Can somebody help me with this one? please...

There are 3 4 versions each requires a different download.

my flash card is the one with "yellow 3ds" and i think mine is a rip off that card. The site in my card says "r4-dshc.com" and in the box it says r4-dshc.
I have tried downloading the firmware 3ds version(not yellow) but it didnt work and I am wondering what does (bellow kernel/kemel) mean?

Try this kernel. Extract the files within the archive, BUT don't copy over the folder "English", just the files within the "English" folder. Please report back if it works and I just noticed your French, so I'll give you the French kernel, if all goes well. :D

Oh, and that section you don't understand, it means "download the kernel below." It's bad English! But that kernel isn't going to run on your flash card anyways, so need to worry about it.

Well you're taking a long time to add the kernel, so if it works use this kernel here which is in French. If you need to update the card for v1.43 firmware the download is here.
And always use the Panasonic SD Formatter 3.1 to format your Micro SD card (Google it and download it) Good luck. :)

I answered you in PM, and told you how to setup RetroGameFan's kernel which supports 99.9% of games :D You don't need the other kernel I linked you to. LINK to Retro's Kernel!! Format your micro sd card, so nothing is on it. Then extract RetroGameFan's kernel package to your computer. THE EASY PART IS YOU ONLY NEED TO USE ONE FOLDER EVEN THOUGH YOU SEE EIGHT FOLDERS! You only need to use the folder called "DSTT-DSTTi TTmenu"....Go inside that folder and rename the file "ttmenu.dat" to "R4I.TP" (without the quotes) then just transfer that file along with the folder directly above it to your micro sd card. Make a new folder on your micro sd card, and name it whatever you want, put all your games in the folder you just created. SEE, it's very easy. :D

@salazarcosplay If your Luma is above 10.2.1 then it is safe to update FW on 3DS, If not then update Luma first. Check Luma version by holding Select when power on https://3ds.hacks.guide/
