Yo, I wanna use the R4i SDHC FW on my AK2i. Can the AK2i just boot the main firmware .NDS? Or does the FW prevent it from being used on other carts? Thanks in advance!

Well, maybe he simply likes the skin. We should show him how to edit cool R4 skins at ak!

i agree, people asking why, but don't have an answer, its so intractable, but you get used to it

anyway im sorry to break it to you but you can't because you will probably end up having some issue with the driver or firmware sorry

Don't ask. Just tell.

I KNEW I should have put ^ in OP.
What? Are we your freakin servants of information? And what the hell is wrong with asking why? Its the best question on the planet.

We're only asking why because there is reason whatsoever to being using the R4i's firmware. AKAIO is a 100 times better. If you like the skin, then there is prolly a homebrew to do that.

wow..noob getting mad
hey if you want to put a lawnmower engine in a mustang than go for it
because that's pretty much what you're doing with your acekard

there's this thing called trial and error
try it and see what happens

That was a joke fool.

How does that explain why you want to use the R4i's kernel on the Acekard?

There's a saying, ask a stupid question and you'll get stupid answers.

You want to read PDF's on your DS?

READ THE PDF!

I just did it, and...

no thanks. I pass xD.

There is this tool which you can pick your games from DS so later they can be downloaded to a computer. Requires LOGIN which is given by a unique ID when you access wifi through your NDS.

@tk_saturn: I LOLed at your post.
You do realize that DS games can get pretty large and the fastest a DS can download at is about 10KB/s. That's going to take mighty long. Just use a computer.

It's not talking about downloading straight to the DS...it's apparently a lame type of rom manager that probably breaks things. The point of getting that sort of thing...is beyond pointless in my opinion.
