Hacking R4 question RE: G6 DS Real

Hey all, had a quick question that I havn't been able to find an answer to.

I know there are issues with single card muliplay with the R4, but how about regular multiplay where everyone has the game. IE if 3 people had retail Mario Kart DS and one had a Rom backup of the game (that they legally own), would they be able to play multiplayer together? Would the backup work for online competition?

Basically I don't have an R4 yet, and I'm wondering if I should wait for the G6 DS Real. I'm not too worried about lack of single cart multiplay, so if the R4 can do regular multiplay it seems like a better option...

1. Yes, it would work since it is multi card play
2. R4 is most likely going to be a lot cheaper. If you would rather wait to see how much better (or worse :S) the G6DS Real, then do so. The R4 is already a very nice card for its price

SIGH lol you guys make deciding hard. There isn't a release date yet either eh (think it was "end of April"?).

And with an R4, you can play online games IE Mario Kart over the nintendo WIFI connection?

I'll probably end up going with the R4 for now...seems like it will do everything I want it to do.

yep i do all the time, between a R4,ez flash iv,v and a supercard sd.

Lol, you know that even if you own the cart, if you run the backups at the same time it's still illegal, right?
And why would it not work?
