As Sephi said, that really ain't going to happen with something like this. You would have to actually code it from the ground up, not do something that anyone with a reasonable knowledge of Google and FAQ's can do. Like I said, it's a much better attempt but I wouldn't expect all that much praise. Specially on a forum with some incredibly talented homebrew coders.

If you called it pre-patched you would probably get alot more credit for it. It's something to save newbies hassle and reading, rather than something to save newbies - if you see what I mean.

Off topic: Can anyone explain why there are two seperate threads made by Beve/Hexane26 that are approx 1.50 hrs apart, all about the same topic, with slightly different titles?

Not only that you've got the same users 'trading posts' like they're in a chat room...most annoying!

On topic: has anyone tried it? Is it a better option than R4YSauto?

It's not YSMenu. It's basically 1.18 with Yasu's bugfix for cheat support and a couple of other things applied to it and the version string edited. It's a better attempt then the 2 byte hacked version of YSMenu the "r4team" released this morning but it won't fix games that need arm7 patching or anything like that.

I'm not personally sold-out on this matter (until a higher authority confirms otherwise), as both usernames speak/act the same way. BTW, a nice touch to make a useless post to tell the WWW you're "going to school" (US time) - remember, this is not a chat room.

Mod (Costello) made a post in one of these threads created by Beve/Hexane26 today, stating they will consider site warning/ban for useless & flame posts. I think it was in his other thread about this same topic.

Yep. There's a few games it has problems with, but it does allow you to load the whole cheat file in, unlike the official firmware that cuts it off after a certain amount. Narin probably knows the tech details, hopefully he'll no doubt answer later on.

Didn't know that.
Haven't encountered problems with Yasu bugfix (well for now anyway =) )
I think we might be better off ignoring Hexane/Beve.

And doesn't Yasu hate people reuploading his work

Yeah he does and he probably wont continue on with ysmenu now that people like the r4team have redistrubuted it.. Ruined it for all of us.. Last time something like this happened, we got blamed for spreading it.. Dont know if it was something to do with Yasu or not though.. Not sure..

Beve/hexane, just take it off your "feature list" just in case yasu quits updating the firmware for the R4
and just rename to like "bug fix"

But, isn't this a recolored 1.18? We used YASU's bugfix alright, which I think doesn't count, as he didn't modify it, although he did use it to advertise his loader. Well, that point may cause a problem....
