Technically there's no such thing as an R4 game. The R4 can only play official games made by Nintendo or other company or unofficial games called homebrew.

I personally like the pokemon, megaman (Classic Zero collections), castlevania and that dragon ball fighter.

There are a lot of good games but my favorites are the pokemon series and ghost trick.

i recommend good game for r4 it called ghost trick very good game and work with r4 very good 100%.
But seriously, what the hell is a " good ds game for r4 "??

This is a good list of games. I'd recommend most of these (not all) plus Pokemon B&W and LoZ:ST (dunno if that was on there). I definitely don't agree with the rankings though, GTA in first? seriously? and animal crossing in last? pay no attention to the rankings. and nearly every game imaginable works with an R4. Just use the latest version of Wood.

Wood doesn't work on it.
I don't know if he tried Retro's updates.

Really? I thought Grand teft auto was extremely good. Not enough missions, but finding every rampage and security camera gives the game awesome replay value. Animal Crossing is good too, but after a while theres not enough keeping me going on that game..

This thread is TERRIBLY screwy...
1. THERE IS NOTHING SPECIFIC TO THE R4 EXCEPT FOR IT'S NOW HEAVILY RIPPED BRAND NAME AND THE KERNEL THAT IS PROVIDED BY THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE.
2. Games are playable by ALL flashcarts, so long as there isn't any anti-piracy in effect OR you have patches, kernel updates, etc. which bypass said AP.
3. There is a list STICKIED ON THIS SITE that suggests the "Best/Essential/Awesome/etc. Games" available here.
4. This isn't even the right section for this sort of thread.

There is no such thing as an R4 game. You just download a Nintendo rom and place it on your flash cart. So yes, you can play games on your DSTT.

Download that file, copy it to your micro SD card then and put your roms in that folder too, then ur done.

note-this allows you to play gba/gbc games.(only)

Lameboy doesn't play GBA games it plays Gameboy and GameBoy Color games.

Plus it says on wikipedia

It is the first game in the series since WWE SmackDown vs. Raw 2007 not to be released for the Nintendo DS.
