Well, I was playing Pokemon White on my r4, then my battery ran out. After charging it, I turned it on, and almost all of my games had disappeared. Only 2 of them still remain, and all the save files are still present. I checked how much space was left on my sd card, but it still remained the same even though the nds files were no longer there. How do I fix this and get my games back?

Have you tried putting the microSD in a computer to see if they are actually still there?

If all fails just backup the saves format the card and put the firmware roms, saves and homebrew back on.

You do have a backup of your roms yeah?

Try setting Windows Explorer's 'show hidden files' option to ON. It might be that they show up, and if they do, you can right click all of them and uncheck 'hidden'.

I just reformatted and stuffs, but I'm having another problem. When I try to cheat (Using Woodr4), it gives me the option to cheat by pressing X, but pressing x does nothing. Anyone know how to fix it?

that's because there are no cheats for that particular game.

And about the disappearing data, were you using the adapter included with the R4? If you were than that has caused me problems in the past, deleting stuff randomly, best to use the adapter included with the SD card (if you bought it separately) or invest in a decent one.

Noope. Using a card reader.

I added cheats on it with r4cce, so there should be cheats.

But were the cheat specific to that game or was it the USRCHEAT.DAT file? If it was usrcheat.dat then that's a compilation of cheats and does not include cheats for every game.

What region of the game are you using? Does it match the region of the cheat file? Not sure if that makes a difference or not.

That happened to me too. This is how i got it fixed:
1.) Put your Micro SD card into your Micro SD Card Reader and then into your computer.
2.) Go to 'My Computer' or 'Computer' and open the Contents in your Micro SD Card
3.) Go to the 'Cheat' folder
4.) Click this link: http://cheats.gbatemp.net/latest/USRCHEAT.DAT.zip
5.) Save to Desktop
6.) Extract the USRCHEAT.DAT file from the Zip file you downloaded in Step 4.
7.) Copy the 'DAT' to your Cheats Folder
8.) Go to the Wood R4 Menu and enable Cheats
9.) Test it
If it doesn't work, Then just Reply and Ill See what else you can try to get it to work
Are you are using an Official R4? Is it a clone?
