Hacking R4 clone?

I have this r4 R4 Happybox red - Working image link
Is this just a crappy clone of something or what because everything I try for pokemon white doesn't work on this r4 no matter how many 'R4i SDHC FIXES FOR POKEMON B/W' I do

Ah, the product is called happybox something...I'll find another image link...It's just I want to play pokemon white on it but I can't find anything that works

R4 is a clone.
This includes, but is not limited to: i, SDHC, III, Ultra, Upgrade, Gold, Red, Christmas, Renovation, King.


Unfortunately, I cannot link you to the download site for your card because the card site has or links to ROM downloads, but I can instruct you how to download it.
1). Go to the site listed on the card
2). At the top of the page, click the "R4-Download" link
3). Scroll down to the box yours came in (4th most likely, maybe 2nd will work) and click the blue Download link
4). Scroll down and click Download for the language of your choice

I have the latest firmware for it which is..1.17B

It's just I can't find anything that will help me run pokemon white on it...I don't know what to do with the patches or anything

I don't think anybody can help you with that flashcart here, almost nobody seems to have heard of this absolutely no-name flashcart.

All we can really suggest is you go buy a good one to replace it.
R4DS - $6, DS Lite only, 2gb only, Wood R4 firmware plays everything
Acekard 2i - $15, DSi/DSLite, SDHC, AKAIO firmware plays everything + anti-anti-piracy
DSTwo - $35 - DSi/DSLite, SDHC, EOS firmware plays everything + anti-anti-piracy, advanced real-time menu with savestates/cheats/guides/slow-mo, GBA/SNES emu, video player

Pick one of these, they're all great choices.

Did you try WAIO? It works for almost all clones... Theres certain settings you'll need to put on however.

According to the site on the card, the latest version is 2.0.10, though I'm not sure it will work on your card.


Beyond that, do what RupeeClock said and buy a new non-clone card.

Remember to install AKAIO 1.8.1 when it arrives.
