Hi tempers,

Here is a longtime lurker that reeds your advice. Name about this weird issue. In my ds3 home menu on the top screen, everything starts to rotate ridiculously quick, is this a consequense or an indication of something. I'm thinking it can't be normal.

Greetings, jelmew

Edit: now after some hours, the mic seems to be working normally again. It doesn't think I'm fully blasting into it all the time. If the mic flips again, which seems higly possible, I'll just send it in to nintendo. Thanks for the help, I didn't know the rotation was caused by the mic.

You're probably breathing on the microphone.
That or maybe you play somewhere with a lot of noise?

I'm not. It is completely silent here and the 3ds is a meter away from my mouth

Edit: Mic test gives constant max volume, is my Mic broken?
Edit2: can I fix this myself or should I send it in?

If it's always Max in the mic test even in a quiet place then it seems to be broken. You should probably return it and get a new one.

Given all of the complaints I've heard from people here about their 3DS's, I wouldn't be shocked if it's the console itself.

See if you can exchange it for a new one.

I was at the train station a few days ago, A LOT of noise, the items on the screen moved fast for a good awhile and I was moving from item to item and then it crashed.

I wonder if all these problems are related to the newer update (1.1.0). I'm still on the original firmware (1.0.0), havent updated at all and havent had any problems.
