Yes. The HD6450 draws its power right from the motherboard hence you not need worry of any cables either. Just plug and play, literally.
Okay just making sure. I do plan on updating the motherboard. What do you suggest that doesn't cost an arm and 3 legs?

Stay away from the whole platform. That APU platform is seriously outdated.
And the HD6450? My laptop's onboard graphics are better than that. What are your goals?

I looked at the pics of the computer and I can’t see any PCIE slots in the motherboard. So... the graphics card is not compatible.

I would suggest building a whole new computer since all the parts can be trashed.
Oh. I was afraid of that. Welp already bought it. Better continue with what I started.
