I want to install cIOS38 rev 14 by waninkoko, let's say 4.3 firmware comes out and it has no affect on homebrew. Will I be able to update my wii through nintendo's servers if I have a cios installed? Sorry if I seem like a newb, I'm kinda new to this.
4.3's not out so who knows what they will do...
for the time being, there's a solution for 4.2 if you wanted to get up to date and then start modding. the current update will stub out certain ioses, so you'd need to remove them to be able to reinstall your cios.
