Can I still play online after doing it and is it possible to remove jailbreak?

Fortunately I got the info from your link of the guide that it is not possible to downgrade the ps4 from 5.50. Thought it would work.

No need to get upset, there is a lot of new people entering the scene that just don't know, not being able to downgrade firmware is not common among all tech devices, and downgrading IS possible with the ps3, so even people rolling over from there, are not totally in the know without asking, or checking for themselves.

Many PS4 beta firmware users just recently had the chance to "roll back" their firmware from 5.50 beta to 5.05. If Sony is able to perform that via software, then there's a chance for hackers to find a way, too.

my guess is that the firmware keys for the beta and 5.05 are the same, so you can switch back and forth.

I've read somewhere that you can rollback until the beta is not yet became the new stable.
