I'd like which tool works the best.
I've tried Shotcut and OpenShot and they both work like shit.

Shotcut was running at 20fps while I recorded with OBS running at 60fps, while it would take the damn thing 2 hours to compress a video while it promised 17 minutes,
and I instantly gave up on OpenShot when there was a huge delay between audio & video.

I don't know about you, but I uninstalled both of them directly. What can I use else?
(Free versions & Open-source software only, no demo's with incomplete features, trails or paid software)

Speed as you describe it there means nothing; it will all depend upon your settings, any processing you are doing and chosen encoder. Equally if it is the same settings (both straight 1080p transcode sort of thing) then chances are the faster one would be a GPU encoder and they all look like arse. Similarly audio desync might just mean you neglected to put the right setting in, what it will be varies massively (could be anything from VBR in AVI to some other settings mismatch).

I could go through my favourites but I kind of already did
