Hacking Question regarding the dock and CFW

I have a question for those of you in the know.

Right now I have a Switch with 5.0.0 OFW on it and looking to install Atmosphere through this: https://github.com/AtlasNX/Kosmos/releases

Now my question is such; I like to keep my Switch on the dock when not playing portable but at current, every time I do it seems like it was started up and in sleep mode. Is installing the CFW going to cause problems with this or will I need to keep it off the dock?

This sounds like either a hardware/firmware issue. Maybe try updating your firmware to 6.2?

I run Kosmos exclusively and have not had any issues with dock mode. Switching back and forth between handheld and docked mode is seamless and when I'm done I put my Switch on sleep mode and dock it.

Thanks for the answers. Thinking about it I realized what it was. Connecting the switch to a power source automatically turns it on and in the end it's a moot point as it works fine even with the CFW.
