Gaming Question regarding monster hunter tri

I have a 4.2u wii console
softmodded with cIOS14 and have neogamma v7


is this all i need to play monster hunter?
if not, what do i need?

You'll need a bit more than that. Monster hunter tri needs the same cIOS as the music games (rock band & guitar hero) to work properly. There are three ways to get that. Choose either one of the following:

-install Hermes's cIOS v4. Which slot(s) you use don't matter (222 or 223), but you have to run MH3 with one that is installed as a merge of 38 and 37.
-install Hermes's cIOS v5. Once again: which slot(s) you use don't matter (222, 223 or 224), but you have to run MH3 with one that is installed with a base IOS of 37.
-install Waninkoko's rev 19, and choose "base IOS 37" during the installation.


There are slight advantages and disadvantages to each (v4 isn't the latest version anymore, v5 doesn't work very well with music games in USB loader CFG, and this 'flavor' of rev19 isn't the most speed-optimized), but in your case, I'd say they will all work.
