I just installed my chip today with the beta6 firmware. It works perfect, except the chip stays on while the console is in standby and this causes a problem when booting. If I turn the console on from standby with a disc in it, the chiip begins flashing SSSSSLS (sync error). It only does this when booted from standby with a disc in the drive - all other instances it works fine. Has anyone else had this problem? Is it a problem with the chiip firmware?

Thanks,
Charlie

Just an update - I resolved the boot issue (I hadn't replaced the battery yet, and once I did chiip boots like a champ in all conditions). However, chiip does seem to stay on even when the wii is in standby, is this normal?

Thanks
Charlie
