Hi,
I have a new Wii with the standard composite cable and composite cable -> SCART adaptor supplied. This combination cannot support auto switch-on of the TV as the signal is not sent in the composite cable. My TV supports both RGB and Component inputs. If I buy an RBG -> SCART or Component -> SCART cable (which could be 3rd party), can they allow the Wii to automatically take control of the TV when the Wii is switched on? Both my Video recorder and DVD player can, but I have run out of sockets in the TV and I'm thinking of investing in an automatically switching SCART adaptor.
Thanks,
Nick
