Hacking Question: How to back up saves?

People are saying to be safe, reinstall vpks dumped with vitamin 1.2. How can I backup and restore my saves?

You can dump the saves and copy them to your PC. You can use RinCheats to dump it for you, or you can do it manually following these steps.

2. go to ux0:/app/gameid download the EBOOT.bin of the game
3. change the EBOOt.bin of the game you want to edit to vitashells EBOOT.bin
4. close VS boot up the game it should boot the vitashell
5. connect to your ftp again
4. go to savedata0: you will see your save data file
