So, just asking, but I need someone to check over my downgrade method and make sure I won't get a brick. Here's my setup:

  • N3DSXL 10.6.0-31U sysNAND
  • No tubehax DNS
  • N3DS update files (absolutely sure)
I plan on downgrading to 10.3 first, and then going to 9.2 using memchunkhax2. Is that okay?

Just...why? You want to proceed with a double downgrade (it means a double risk of a brick) just to use another notoriously unstable way to have the same result... Also, the new sysupdater has caused only 1 or 2 softbricks until now that can be recovered with an update while on recovery mode. IMO, you should just downgrade directly from the 10.6 to the 9.2

Too late, I'm already successfully on 10.3.0-28U.

The walls of bricked 3ds say something different, but perphaps you are lucky enought to do it at the first attemp
The only known bricks are doing stupid stuff like installing the wrong files and shutting down your 3ds at certain points.

Nope, there are also several cases of random bricks in the middle of the process even with the correct cias or without even touch the console during the downgrade

Damn, I've missed a lot of news since my 3DS broke (cracked shell + joystick broken off, hardware is working).

Good stuff

I did 2 O3DS's today in about 15 minutes going from 10.6 to 9.2 using cubic ninja. You messed up bro.

This version with works 100x better than to 10.3 downgrader.
