I am just curious what would happen if you run the 3DS set up thing and tried executing the exploit

Well uh, you'll then be able to load a launcher.dat file on your sd card if you're on 4.1-4.5 if you enter the DS Settings. If you are above 4.5 you'll get an error screen when you enter the DS settings
