OP
I'm planning on downloading Super Smash Bros. For Wii U onto my USB drive, but it only has 14.5 GB of space on it, and it's completely empty as I just formatted it. Smash Bros. With updates takes up roughly 15 GB of space. I'm wondering, is it possible to download it onto my USB without updates, and then have the updates go onto system memory (I only have 3GB of system memory left) and have it be playable that way?

TLDR; I want to know if I can have updates on system memory while the game is on the USB drive.

Hello,

Prefer all your game, everything on the Wii memory or your USB support.

You use a USB key, prefer external hard drives for better connectivity with the Wii, and you will have more storage capacity.

USB keys work poorly or poorly with the Wii U.
