Homebrew Question about RSF Generation...

Hi guys,

I've got a buddy that's been working on an RSF generator for linux, first part of this is a bash script, second part a python script...

As of the moment, basically the generated output is able to start booting up, fades to black, stalls for a while, and drops back to the home menu. Any thoughts of what might be missing?

Can't offer any direct help, but here's an awful, terrible python script I wrote a year and a half ago that, with the several dozen or so games I tested it with, worked fine. http://pastebin.com/eJNmXq1R http://pastebin.com/f3209mCb
It's somewhat commented, so if there's anything missing in one or the other, hopefully would be easy to find.
