PS1/2 Question about PSX Game...

When I found a download link for Resident Evil 2, it came up with two versions;

Resident Evil 2 (E) (Disc 1) (Leon Disc)
Resident Evil 2 (E) (Disc 2) (Claire Disc)

And after I extract one of them, I got a ".bin.ecm"
What do I do with that?

I know exactly where you got them from cos of that

You have to download a program called "pakkiso" http://www.mediafire.com/?mywiiyzmdtt (FREEWARE, NOT A ROM OR GAME) and extract the contents to a folder. Now, i that folder there should be a ton of DOS programs. Just drag your .ecms over the "unecm" executable and it will create the bin.

This is done for (that site) as a means of extra compression, so their servers cost less.


And this is FAR easier to use than ECM tools
