Hacking Question about PKGI savefiles

Greetings I have a question about the savefiles of games I downloaded from PKGI.
Is there a way to backup the savefiles at all? I ask because when I first began this download method for games, I used a 4gb vita stick. Now I have a 32gb stick and even when I copy-pasted the files to new stick, I still had to redownload game and lost my savefiles entirely.
I'm henkaku 3.60 and my PKGI is v0.17
