i had some nand backups of my n3ds xl from back when it was homebrewed. i wasn't using it anymore so i updated to 11.1.
i want to downgrade, so i just put a hardmod on it and took a 11.1 backup.

here is a 3ds nand checker of the backups

nand1-3 are the hardmod 11.1 backups
the rest were backed up with homebrew

why is the sysnad9.2 backup a different size? they are all from the same console. im just using a random sd card reader right now. but it seemed to read fine.

thank you, and sorry this is like my first time ever using a forum to ask a qestion :P

could be a rednand backup. rednand uses the smallest NAND size for ur console (O3ds, N3ds, 2ds). every one of those consoles has two or three different NAND chips that vary in size. rednand uses the smallest one of those sizes to backup the NAND. that's one way it differs from emunand actually.

u'll have to either hardmod or I believe u can also use another system to downgrade. I think it might need to be a9lh'd, but I'm not sure.
