Hacking Question about legit cias

Hello, I have read this post (https://gbatemp.net/threads/what-is-a-legit-cia-and-other-noob-cia-questions-answered.386705/) and I still have a question about legit cias. They are cias signed by nintendo and all that stuff but, is there any difference between playing a game through a common cia and playing the same game through a legit cia? Do legit cias have a smaller ban rate? If I have both possibilities which one should I choose?

legit cias are legit. Cias which you own and dumped your self from own games and have their original cert. That's all. Ninty is not baning for playing as they did not implement a way of checking it.

Some people don't want have or want a cfw, and legit cias can be played without it.
Other cias do not work without cfw. (Or without any sort of hacks like cfw)

To clarify something, legit CIAs are CIAs that can be played without CFW, BUT only on 11.2 or lower as you can actually use FBI to install stuff on those firmwares through the Homebrew Menu. 11.3 patched that ability and then 11.4 patched arm9 modifications (what older CFW methods used). Anyway, if you actually have one of those older firmwares, there's really no point to not installing CFW anyway, so overall legit CIAs have long since been obsolete.
