I just installed my first nsp dark souls with sx pro i was always under the impression that once installed you could run with official firmware or without the sx pro but it keeps giving me an error msg maybe I was mistaken

With NSP you don't have to swap XCI each time you want to play a different game.
I guess its just more convenient to use NSP.
