Hello
So, I'll change of android phone tommorow and I just need an information before getting it.
I also have an android tablet and I noticed that on google play, some game appears on my tablet and that dont on my phone.
Does that mean there are games exclusively for tablet or it depend of specs of the device?
Also, my phone runs perfectly fine PvZ2 but my tablet run it very slowly, so it wouldn'T make sense, right?
So please, tell me...
thanks :)

Not every device is compatibale with all apps, for.... reasons. If you ever visit the website of google play on web browser and look up the apps it will show a list of YOUR own personal devices it can be downloaded to. While it may be possible to just load the apk on the device it says incompatible with, you may find a problem or another that it won't work. For example most Android tv systems (in this case i have nvidia sheild tv) won't work with some games or apps cause not having touch screen or gyro sensor (moving system to control action like in temple run)

In the same way, is also possible to just install apk on the system to load it and test if you can fully use all functions or aspects of the app. Another reason may be cause each android device while most still use google play, it uses custom OS created by the brand publisher themself and has either altered the functionality that causes it not to work or simply possible is locked out or restricted for some reason most likely having their own custom play store that limits apps that functions best with device. Not to mention sometimes version number of app along with not having correct version number of OS installed, but this latter is very rare.

Whatever the reason is, you could just install the apk on the system and check yourself and maybe you may understand why is considered incompatible.:teach:

That what i do with all my stuff anyway. :P

They don't appear because they aren't "compatible". The Play Store lists all the compatible apps available for the device you're on, so if XYZ app is available for your tablet but not your phone, it would appear on your tablet because it's compatible but not on your phone.

Ok, well how do you explain that PvZ2 is working fine on my phone but very slowly on my tablet
that would mean my phone has better specs than my tablet right?
yet there are some game i dont find on my phone but i can find on my tablet

Not at all, your tablet might have better specs than your phone, but also its the game design, some games work better with some video chips, as they are optimized to run on certain devices, so this doe snot necessarily means that your tablet its better then your phone.

The compatibility isn't based on specs, it's simply based on the device name. Devs can restrict apps for certain devices for various reasons, like SoC incompatibilities or whatever.

To be more accurate, it's based on features as opposed to specs. Screen size, if the device has gyro, if the device has GPS, processor architecture (x86 vs ARM) and Android OS version are some of the factors that decide if an app will show up on Google Play search results for any given device.
