Extracting the contents of the Quake Switch release I noticed a \nro\ folder and inside is a nro called "Party.nro". I launched it and it exits with a "software was closed" error. Any way to analyze the .nro file further?

You can't run NRO compiled with official SDK on hbmenu. It's designed only to be loaded via game's NSO that have it.
So your only way to try to run it is via skyline.

Since I don't have Skyline. Is there a precompiled version of it? I tried yuzu, but that didn't launch the .nro.

skyline in this case is not an emulator. It's a code injection framework. You need to program it to do what you want.
