Hacking Puzzle Dragons SMB edition "An error has occurred"

When installing this either via freeShop or CIAngel, when I try to launch it on my New 3DS XL it crashes with "An error has occurred"

It's a USA game, and I have an EUR 3DS with Luma CFW. Could it be that?

Or is it because I enabled the "Clock speed up" option in Luma for new 3DS?

Luma automatically enables region free in a sense with a in-built patch, maybe you need to import the seed for it
