Nintendo should beat sony to it, release a cheap $5 addon that contains no more than an IR led that snaps on and a firmware update to the wii adding webcam support.

So they'd release a 20 dollar LED and IOS?

20 dollar? I just ordered 60 ir leds off dealextreme for under $10 with no tax and shipping. They could sell it for $5 and still make a HUGE profit.

you have to add the r&d costs for a great thing like a plastic sleeve. i think it's worth at least 30 Bucks.
