Hacking Psvita TV question about how it auto shuts down.

I'm trying to scan some roms
But it might take an hour, the problem is that the ps vita tv autoshutdowns itself.

I disabled the hdmi link, can I now go to sleep without having to worry that it will autoshut down?

I'm trying to scan a few roms with retroarch and not have it shut down on me.

Thanks for any help.

EDIT: It shut down so all my progress was lost ---- now I'm going to try to put a rubber band on the ds4 right stick controller
