Hacking PSTV Henkaku Guide ?

Hi there,
I have looked around here and somehow could not find much ... maybe it is because I do not understand it properly but yeah "I" was not able to find a guide that helps "me"

Is there any guide that starts from scratch and is somehow up to date ?

Just got a PSTV with firmware 3.20 which I need to update to 3.60 I guess (put the 3.60 update on an usb stick already just need to do it)
Than I somehow need to activate Henkaku but if I am not mistaken I need to go online for this ? so what about the new updates .... I don't want it to update past 3.60 oO

and when I have Henkaku enabled do I have to reenable it all the time or does it stay active ?
and another thing is, I read there are "hacked" vpk's which could destroy your system, is there already some kind of detection software available ?

What about that Qcma thing what's that ? I read "you will need it" but no explanation what this actually is ...

You just need to use the Web browser when you are on 3.60, you don't have to update for that. HENkaku is enabled as long as you don't turn off your PSTV, if you restart/turn it off you can just use the web browser to activate HENkaku again to access all of your homebrews.

There are hacked vpks that can format your PSTV, making it a brick. Be sure to download vpks from reliable sources and always check comments and the like before you download anything suspicious.

QCMA is used for backing up stuff from your PSTV to your PC without having the PSTV connect to Sony's server for a firmware update.

Thanks guys, but none of these say anything about how to protect yourself from updating above 3.60 ... all of these say "open the web browser and got to henkaku homepage" but wouldn't going only be risky ?
And as I already need to be online I guess I could use that ftp server which is included in henkaku already ... ^^V

Well I will try my luck ... just updated to 3.60 and will look into options to turn off the updates if it is possible

The PS Vita and PSTV don't update themselves automatically, you have to manually go into the system settings and press the "system update" in your system to look for updates and even then you have to confirm to install it once it's downloaded.

If you try to go into the playstation store or access any online services it wont automatically download an update neither, it will simply tell you to go into system settings and update from there.
