I recently found the ds section here devoted to translation patches and was really impressed. I was wondering if anyone knows a place where I might find english patches for psp games.

That's because the system is too recent. The admin of romhacking likes to make sure the system is dead and that the games in question have no chance in hell of coming to the west before hosting/cataloguing the patches in order to prevent connotations of piracy.

Discussion topic answering this question (with regards to romhacking.net).

Hahah, the policy doesn't make much sense to me. I understand the intentions but then why are there still Final Fantasy translations; won't they take away from the sales of FFIV DS

!? Plus, if you have the ability to play a translation you have the ability to play the rom anyways so the distinction of old and new is moot. But it's his site and he can do what he wants with it, I certainly appreciate the effort he does in maintaining it. I just wish that there was a centralized place to find out about NDS translations and that when the DS is deemed "too old", I hope that none of the older translations will be lost because they can't be found/catalogued.

there's this haruhi project going on, and there's that mh2g patch other than that there are no patch on the psp , shame really

You mean this: Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu PSP translation.

There are some translations of PSP games into other languages (like that Toradora PSP game into Chinese) that could be translated into English....

Don't forget you could get PSX translated games and play them on your PSP too.
