PSP to support non-gaming apps

    I don't see why they would be doing this for the psp go since the other models can do the exact same things except slide and bluetooth. I hope psn doesn't get flooded with crap like the iphone.

    they do this for all psp's.
    it's just that they happened to mention it while showing off the psp go.


    and psp already has non-gaming app(s)

    though the only one i know that isn't built-in or homebrew is "homestar portable" from the japanese PSN(free, and doesn't seem to be a demo)
    it's a star viewer, which let's you select a location and time and then view the stars from that place on earth.

    the most exciting apps need the internet...PSP hasn't got GPRS/EDGE/3G, so you won't be able to use it for such things..that's why I won't need those apps to much

    i find it rather interesting to see what is to be expected of the "non-gaming" apps
    maybe we might even see something controversial
