We all know about the texture replacing function of the PPSSPP emulator that allows us to apply texture mods to games. But is there any way to do that on an actual PSP and/or on the PS Vita's Adrenaline?

The only way to do so would be to modify the actual ISO. Texture injection, I believe, would be too intensive on the PSP.

Of course, any sort of "HD Texture" or similar wouldn't work on the actual PSP hardware as it'd be too much for it to handle.

my zill o'll translation project disagrees with your statement as i imported the game's ps2 version textures into the psp version and they run just fine with real hardware.
ofcourse, this sort of modding will always have to be done on a case-by-case basis.

I'm wondering how you import those textures in the ISO file. Can somebody explain how?
