Hardware psp shutdown

so lately my psp has been shutting down im using custom themes and am on prome 4 if any of that helps my psp is a 1000 series. i think it could be my battery(3rd party) im gonna test it with another battery can any of you suggest a way to fix it.

it really gets annoying when im in the middle of a game on fire then bam it shuts off
