Hacking Psp ps1 savefiles conversions

I've been playing some PS1 games on my psp that are eboots. I am wondering if it is at all possible to convert the save files from that format their in to work on a normal ps1 memory card. I mostly play my psp at work but once I beat the game I'd like to be able to put the save file on a ps1 memory card.

I've used CWCheatPOPS in a PSX game to import/export the save to the memory stick as a different format and then use conversion tools on the PC... but I don't have any specifics, it's been a while.
