Hacking PSP or PS VITA?

if you're anal about playing on native resolution, then psp is better than a vita for playing psp games only.

In the case of the Vita, the Vita screen is exactly 2x the resolution of the PSP screen so it should scale perfectly with no artifacting.

DS games look so bad on the 3DS because the resolutions are not a multiple of each other.

I've gotten a PSP for about 30$ at a swapmeet. If you can get it for really cheap, I'd go with the psp since it is very easy to hack. Don't own a vita, so I cant say which is easier to hack.
