psp light leak

I noticed that the back-light of my psp is leaking between the shell and the right dpad button and when I look at it at an angle, I can see the back-light. FYI I got this 7 days ago instore with an aftermarket shell and treated it well by putting on a hard case and putting it inside a pouch with the hard case, so idk if it's a detail I haven't noticed before or it came on its own.

There's a dust filter that sticks to the metal bezel of the lcd screen. Maybe they changed the screen at one point and just didn't add it back.

Yeah and if you see dust beginning to gather inside the thing, it really ain't that hard to open it up and clean it out. Play that thing until something weird happens. It's just a bit of light leak. Doesn't hurt anybody.

i already keep it in a hard case with a zipper case and don't use it in dusty areas so i hope nothing bad will happen

also when i do see dust, i take them out using a toothpick and try to be careful so i dont crack the toothpick tip inside it

just asking, but do other people have my same issue? because i feel alone in this
