Can someone help me to install plugins on my PSP?
I want to put cheating in games and Screen grab but I don't know how.
Can someone provide zip file with ready to drop files and install directions.

They usually come with instructions:
Put folders or PRX (don't remember, probably PRXs) inside the folder seplugins on the root. (Make this folder)
Turn off PSP fully, press R while turning it on
Go to plugins and enable the PRX

Ok. I created in a root of Memory stick following folder
SEPLUGINS (capitalized)
I download
CWCHEAT_0_1_5.rar
inside there's Manual_instalation.rar file (49,390) so i put files from inside to SEPLUGINS
cheat.db, cwcheat.prx and MENUALINST_README.TXT.
Went to Recovery Menu -> Plugins and I don't see anything.
Please help...

http://cwcheat.consoleworld.org/ game (150/380). Run that on your PSP and it downloads the latest code updates they have on their server.

Wow!. That helped a lot. Finally I got it!
Maybe sombody knows how to cheat in Ratchet and Clank? In every game you just hold SELECT but in that one it doesn't work.

you have to make sure that your cheat.db has cheats for the game. but if not you have to search for them yourself.

According to the list in DB there is cheat foe US and EUR version for Ratchet. I just don't know how to activate it. I changed the key settings from SELECT to L+R+Down but still no effect.
Also I discovered that with Ghost N Goblins after using cheat the game freezes.
Any ideas?

Ok. So I have more questions about PSP.
1. Is there any way to change XMB sounds, Sony logo. If yes where can I get them and how to install it?
2. There are two types of themes. PTF and more complicated type with more files and folders. How to install those themes?
3. What is the easiest way to put albums covers in mp3 so I can see them on my psp mp3 player?
4. Is there any way to view txt files on PSP?
5. Can someone explain me those plugins. Recovery and pops. What are they functions and how to use them.

1. There are themes which you flash to your PSP's flash0 (iirc). I think http://www.consolespot.net/index.php?network=xmb&page=1 has some
2. Press select at XMB, change USB device to flash0 (again iirc, they should have a readme), then copy/overwrite the files. MAKE SURE TO MAKE A BACKUP of your FLASH0!!!

4. IDK, maybe put a .html at the end and try viewing it in the browser. IIRC just when typing, keep pressing the http:// button until it becomes something like file:// then add the file's name.
5. Recovery is not a plugin IIRC (how many times is that...4 "iirc"s?) Popsloader just lets you use the PS1 emulator built into older firmwares. Reason for this is often the emulators get worse in each update.

For text files and PDFs use a homebrew program called BookR, it's a really sweet ebook program that has great functality including bookmarks and different display options.

New questions

1. I want to start swaping at3 music in ISOs, but I don't have any tools to play/convert them. What software should I use to convert it from to wav/mp3?
2. I don't know if it's true but can I play isos not from memory stick but from PC/external hdd? That would help a lot

And about your 2nd question, i asked the same question in another thread but im having doubts if it can really play ISOs from the external hdd.

1. if you want to play the at3 files i think you need that sony soundforge program or somthing along those lines. but i dont think that you will be able to change it to wav or mp3.

2. you can run irshell to play iso from your computer, also there is another plugin that will also allow you to so it as well. i think its usbhost. irshell is easier than usbhost method.
