Hacking psp games upscaled on psn

I've heard that the psp games that you get from psn are upscaled, is that true?
Not to be confused with running original psp isos on adrenaline, but rather the psp titles from psn

I have a few I bought like Castlevania: Dracula X chronicles and Ape escape. They look the same as any ISO you can play with Adrenaline imo.

Thats true only on the Ps3 b/c their resolution is actually in 1080p while Ps2 is 720p
