Hacking Homebrew PSP emulator question

ok this question is from my friend who has a psp

he wants a cps1 and cps2 emulator and is trying to get it to work on his psp his is a psp slim

does he need to download a special cps1 or cps2 emulator for his psp slim ?

or is it the same one for the psp phat


i know it sounds wierd but i see torrents and some of them say cps1 emu and roms for psp slim
