Is this expensive to fix?

When you open up your PSP, you void your warranty(To open it, you need to remove a yellow tape that says "If you remove this label, your warranty shall be voided"), so make sure if you are under warranty, and if you are, send it into Sony for free repairs. If not, Sony could fix that for...40$ give or take a 10$.

I just got lucky. I have obtained another broken PSP from my friend. Now I can use those parts without. My only problem now that I don't have a small enough screwdriver to fit in the PSP.

No shop is open that sells screwdrivers at Christmas.

You need to be extra careful when opening the PSP case. The screws are extremely tight, so you need to use the exact bit to unscrew it or it'll strip. I had the screw on mine stripped, but luckily I had a power drill to drill off the top of the screw.
