Hi guys, with the recent release of the Adrenaline-2, I think it's time to migrate from PSP to PSVita.
I know Adrenaline still does not support PS1 games, but in the future it will (¿Adrenaline-3?) so there is no reason to continue on the PSP.
Is there a program that allows me to back up all the information on my PSP?
Otherwise, what should I copy from the information that appears when I connect the console via USB, and what files I would lose if I can not access the internal storage of the PSP?

If you just copy your games and saves over, I can't think of anything else you would need. As for a program to backup your entire PSP contents, I don't think there is one.

But I wouldn't recommend completely ditching the PSP for Vita's Adrenaline, as PSP games played that way have slight, variable input lag. I'm sure some could deal with it, as it is largely unnoticable and does change quite a bit depending on what is happening on screen, but with the PSP able to handle its own games flawlessly as well as being fully hackable, I would recommend sticking to your CFW PSP to play any PSP ISOs over using Adrenaline.

In that case I'll wait a few months, maybe another year until Adrenaline is more polished.
Anyway, I'm in no rush to have the console off, it's only because when I travel I have to carry 2 or 3 consoles.

If you're ok with no sound for PS1 games, you can use ARK which supports PS1 games the same as a PSP would without any sound.

There's also native PS1 emulation with Retroarch, which is pretty good as well with only slight slowdowns for 3D games.

Is a PS3/PSP demo still required to install this?

Oh, I don't think it's the fault of Adrenaline, I'm pretty sure that's just the way Vita emulates PSP games. I don't think improvement is likely.

You still need a PSP demo, but we have PSN spoofing back right now so you can get a legit PSP demo from the store, or you could use ePSP Bubble Installer which allows you to install a DRM free PSP demo that's only 12MB or so.
