Hardware PSP 2000 NTSC-J

I've been stalking PSP2000 listings on eBay lately (want to get a new one to mod that has the TV-Out ability - stupid PSP1000 and its lack of said ability) and would like to know FOR SURE if by getting NTSC-J I can still play my English ISOs?

I've seen alot of things stating that is the case but want to make certain.

Also would there be a way to make the system menu show in English on a Japanese console (with CFW)?

JPN PSP have all languages. All region have.

PSP's are region free out of the box, even in ofw you'd have no problem with cross region UMD's.
