That's certainly a novel idea, and the free content (minimal as it is) is a nice touch. Sure, it was destined to stir up trouble and controversy, but it's the thought that counts.

I can only vote for the PSN classics, as I've played none of the others, while the rest of the entries in the other categories don't seem very good, the PS classics is stellar and valid as it has 3 examples of pretty much the holy grail of stellar PS one gaming although there are many more.

FFVI was a PSOne classic wasn't it... How the hell is that not on the list?

It wasn't a great port. But Xenogears is an awful game and Chrono Trigger i have difficulty accepting on the PSP when the DS version is effectively definitive. Don't know how i feel about Parasite Eve but i'd much rather have seen Vagrant Story and Soul Reaver in place of Xenogears and Chrono Trigger, merely because they could do with some more recognition...perhaps even Tomb Radier The Last Revelation?
Oh man, you just brought back memories.....

Soul Reaver is one awesome game. I did play Tomb Raider: TLR, but it wasn't that awesome, pretty good, not awesome.

Thing is, Not everyone has hacked their PSP and has translation patch. And would they really put up a Japanese game in a US thing?
Hacking their PSP is not a issue now. Excuse for not having a hacked PSP to play it is lame. Its still playable even if it is not translated. Japanese what in US what?

My Vita says hello.

Because a PSVita is a PSP. Oh wait. Let me guess. Xbox360 is PS3 too!
Uhm, I think he meant "I have a PS Vita, which is not hackable as of yet, therefore your argument sucks."

Anyways, as for your question ("Japanese what in US what?") - WHY should the US division of Sony put up a PSP game that hasn't even been released in the US yet into their nomination of best PSN titles? Makes no sense at all, therefore while you might think it's the best PSP game evarrr, IT DOES NOT EXIST IN THE AMERICAN PSN STORE.. hence it can't be nominated. If it gets released in the US this year, you can surely vote for it next year.

I agree. Most of the choices suck.. especially.. why did they add Dissidia Prologus as a game? Why isn't Corpse Party, the highest rated game on the PSP PSN store in there? And the whole system is flawed. Everyone's just gonna vote for the game they want to buy cheaper.

Has the voting started yet, will there be a PSN update later? I have no idea when the updates usually are but I definitely have no voting options when I enter the PSN store from my Vita.
