Is there any FW serial number database? Like those for PlayStation 4. I guess it would be hard on PlayStation 5, since there's no stock, but I could try in a few shops.

I don't see where it says it's firmware specific? Besides, this isn't a full exploit yet.

Yeah, of course I don't expect it to be developed right away. It took a few a years to see the 1.72 exploit by CTurt on PlayStation 4. But who knows.

According to wololo, it could have been patched on 20.02-02.26.00.

So, does accessing the user space give a user enough room to actually execute arbitrary code? I'd assume there'd be a lot more barriers to break down, but this is definitely out of my wheelhouse. Cool stuff, though.
