So it's finally here for everyone.. rolling out globally tomorrow (Sept 15th)
I guess it's good I held off but the price of M.2 SSDs is still painful x3
Funnily enough, some M.2 prices have actually dropped over the last few weeks where I live when I was expecting the opposite.
Got a 980 Pro 1TB for £150 and when I last looked the SN850 was £145. For comparison the Series 1TB storage is £200 on Amazon.
Although I wont be surprised if they shoot up now.
Is it true the Samsung 980 pro has issues on PS5? I'm looking at that now on Amazon, the WD Black with heatsink is of stock >.>
Edit: Found the 1 TB WD SSD with a heatsink for 195 USD. Maybe I'll get that.
They do not let you copy them to usb drives but they are stored on HD (I'm almost positive as now I'm second guessing myself for no reason lol.)Do they still keep saves on the NAND? I bet they don't want a "Save wizard" for the PS5 as well

Fix'd 4 yaI'll ask for an edit of the topic. Since it's not Beta anymore
In case anyone couldn't figure out how to install the SSD, here is a very in-depth instructional video by Sony..
I think it should be a standard option for every console. Now I just want a transparent PS5...
